As we go through our day-to-day lives, certain dates or events can trigger feelings of stress, anxiety, and self-doubt. That's why it's essential to prioritize our mental health. Personally, I have some tough battles coming up in the next few months, but today I learned about a "glimmer." A glimmer is the opposite of a trigger.Glimmers are those moments in your day that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude. Once your train your brain to be on the lookout for glimmers, these tiny moments will appear more and more. Over the next few weeks, I'll be actively seeking out these glimmers. I know there will still be triggers, but I hope that by focusing on the glimmers, I'll be able to get through the tough times a little easier. So, I encourage all of you to look out for those glimmers in your own lives and be kind to yourselves. Remember, our mental health is just as important as our physical health. ๐#bekindtoyourself #glimmers

One of the most relatable videos I've seen lately is of a man out for a walk saying "You know what the most annoying thing is about having to take a stupid walk everyday for my stupid mental health? It's that it f***ing works." BINGO! Moving your body literally changes the hormones your body is pumping into your system. If you are having a tough day at work or struggling with overwhelm or feeling defeated, get up and move. Even if all you can muster is some stretching or a little jumping up and down. Moving your body can feed your brain some good snacks and stop it from munching on the self loathing it was feeding on. Bottom line, stupid mental health walks work. โโIโm Brittany! I help folks struggling with challenges in their life and work feel more calm, confident, and clear about how they want to move forward. If that sounds exciting to you, Iโd love to connect. You become what you think and speak โ this is why itโs so important to refrain from being negative during lifeโs important moments. If you want something bad enough, you can often speak (and affirm) it into existence.Mental health is just as important as your physical health ๐ Be kind to yourself. #Sobriety #RecoveryPosse

Luke Scott and I out and about again 5km before 6am. The 5am rolls on and why do we do it well read below about the benefits we experience by just getting up even in the rain.In today's fast-paced world, mental health has become a major concern, with #stress, #anxiety, and #depression affecting millions of people worldwide. While there's no one-size-fits-all solution to improving mental health, there is a simple yet powerful activity that can make a significant difference: walking and talking. It's a combination of physical activity and social engagement that has profound benefits for your mental #well-#being. Walking and talking with a friend or colleague can help you clear your mind, #reduce #stress, and boost your mood. It's an easy way to get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with others. So, the next time you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed, take a break and go for a walk with someone you trust. You might be surprised at how much better you feel afterward. Remember, taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. Let's prioritize our well-being and make walking and talking a regular part of our routine.

In a world that never stops, have you ever wondered if your mental health is paying the price for keeping up? It's time to ask yourself, could you be sacrificing your mental well-being in the pursuit of success and productivity? We are bombarded with messages of the importance of keeping up, achieving more, and constantly pushing ourselves to do better. But amidst all this hustle and bustle, have you ever stopped to consider the toll it may be taking on your mental health? Are you sacrificing your well-being in the pursuit of these external markers of success? It's a question worth asking, as our mental health is crucial for our overall happiness and quality of life. With the pressure to constantly perform and keep up with the pace of society, it's important to take a step back and assess if we are truly taking care of ourselves and prioritizing our mental well-being. Let's not forget that success and productivity mean nothing if we are not mentally healthy enough to enjoy them. It's time to prioritize self-care and find a balance between achieving our goals and taking care of our mental health. The choice is yours. #askcoachsonia

Work, meetings, deadlines and commitments can easily take over our lives. But in the midst of all this hustle, it's important to not forget about our own mental health. So, let's use the acronym HOLI to prioritize our well-being:H - Hobbies: Make time for activities that you truly enjoy, whether it's reading a book, cooking a meal or taking a dance class.O - Outside: Spend some time outdoors to soak up some vitamin D and enjoy the beauty of nature.L - Love: Connect with your loved ones, whether it's through a phone call, text message or a coffee date.I - Introspection: Take some time out to reflect on your thoughts and feelings.
